Excellent examination results 2014

Old Palace is delighted to announce an excellent set of A-Level results. 95% of Old Palace A-Level grades are A*-C across the entire curriculum range. We are thrilled to announce that 82% have achieved their first choice of university with a few individuals still waiting to hear.

Almost 42% of all grades were A* or A, and students will now continue their studies at leading universities including Oxford, Durham, Warwick, Imperial, UCL and King’s.

At an individual level, Keshvi attained three A* and 2 A grades and will now study Mathematics at Oxford. Emma has gained the grades to read French at Oxford. Zhelini gained four A* grades and has been awarded a scholarship to study Geophysics at Imperial. Rosani and Mary also achieved four A grades in their chosen subjects.

Particular congratulations to the number of outstanding individuals who have achieved at an extraordinarily high standard with A and A* grades across the board. “Our AS results are excellent with 88% of all grades at AS Level are A-C. Again, at an individual level outstanding performances were achieved by Alisha with five A grades and Suwanja, Morgan, Ejatu, Chandi, Kemi, Safiyah, Ayesha, Victoria and new Head Girl Sophia all of whom attained 4 A grades.

Further examination success for Old Palace

A week after celebrating their A-Level results, Old Palace is delighted to congratulate the achievements of Year 11 with 100% pass rate at GCSE.

There were outstanding individual performances with 15 students achieving 10 A*/A grades or above. Chioma excelled with a perfect 10 A* grades, Abigael 11 A*/A (10*), Zara 10 A*/A (9*), Jasmine 10 A*/A (9*), Dwara 10 A*/A (9*), Nadeen 10 A*/A (8*), Sian 10 A*/A (8*), Anisah 10 A*/A (7*), Zoe, 10 A*/A (7*), Bhairavi 10 A*/A (7*), Sayyeda 10 A*/A (6*), Natalia 10 A*/A (6*), Naomi 10 A*/A (6*), Jesse 10 A*/A (5*) and Priyalisha 10 A*/A (5*).
